The Fiqh of Marriage and Divorce (Shafi’i) - Hamza KaramaliThe fifth of a six-part course that covers a complete introductory matn of Shafi fiqh. The goal of these courses is to teach students what it means to live a life of taqwa. They will learn what it means for them to be morally responsible by studying rulings that apply to all aspects of human life. The course text is Matn Abi Shuja, which will be taught in its original Arabic. Fluency in Arabic is a prerequisite for this course. Students can take these six courses in any order.
Note: Online students can follow this course in English using the Ultimate Conspectus translated by Musa Furber and available online as e-book. So Arabic is not a prereq for online course.
