Sheikh Zyad Hossen

Biography

Zyad Hossen was born and raised in Reunion Island. He moved to Europe studying in Paris and in the UK where he graduated with honors from the Buckinghamshire business school.

He started his traditional Islamic studies in Tarim learning the Arabic language at the Badr institute. Zyad had the opportunity to learn from various Islamic sciences including Hanafi Fiqh, Inheritance, Tajweed with teachers in South Africa and Jordan. He is also a Certified Shari’a Adviser and Auditor (CSAA).

He was blessed to benefit from teachers including al-Habib Kazim al-Saqqaf, al Habib Hashim bin Ibrahim, Shaykh Umar Husain al-Khatib, Shaykh Ali Hani, Shaykh Anas al Siba’ee, late Mufti Sulaiman Cassim, Shaykh Ibrahim Osi-Ofa, Shaykh Faraz Rabbani, Mawlana Yaqub Patel, Shaykh Faiz Qureshi.

He currently lives in Jordan with his wife and children where he is pursuing his studies.
