Vehicle to the Divine Series – Transforming the Health of our Families: Body, Mind, and Soul
Hakim Shabaz Ahmed
Course Introduction
Imam al-Ghazali classified all beneficial knowledge into two essential categories: ‘Ilm al-Adyan and ‘Ilm al-Abdan — the knowledge of religion and the knowledge of the body, the vehicle through which the path to the Divine is traversed. This distinction is profound because proper practice of the Deen depends upon a healthy and functional body and mind. As the Prophet said, “The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer,” for the strong believer can worship with greater focus, endurance, and breadth of pious action. If one looks across the resources available throughout the world on ‘Ilm al-Adyan, the field is abundant — books, institutes, lectures, and thousands of courses exist. Yet ‘Ilm al-Abdan and its authentic, deep Islamic understanding is grossly lacking. Most existing material remains limited to scattered remedies connected to individual diseases rather than a true medical system rooted in the principles of Tibb al-Nabawi that cultivates a coherent understanding of the body, balance, and healing. Foundational understanding alone is not enough. When a paradigm is true and grounded in sound principles, it must yield real, practical results. Hakim Shabaz has not only established a methodology of treatment – called The Tibb – but has also applied these principles to successfully treat a wide range of modern conditions largely considered incurable by conventional medicine. He continues to refine and expand his methodology, which has generated growing interest both within and outside the Islamic world. Many medical doctors are eagerly awaiting the release of his book to study and learn this methodology, and several have already expressed strong interest in receiving formal training under his guidance. Recently, he delivered a highly insightful presentation to a large gathering of medical doctors in the United States under the leadership of renowned functional medicine expert Dr. Yusuf Saleeby, further establishing the relevance and clinical power of this revived system of medicine.
This course, however, is designed especially for the general public — for those who seek a deeper understanding of their bodies so they may live, worship, raise healthy children and serve with greater strength and clarity, particularly in an age marked by widespread disease, toxic environments, and declining health. This course is the first in a planned series dedicated to restoring the lost science of Islamic medicine for the modern world.
A Deeper Look
We live in an age where medical science is more advanced than ever before—yet human health is declining at an unprecedented rate. Fertility rates are plummeting. Couples who long for a child struggle to conceive naturally. Pregnancies are increasingly fragile, shadowed by the threat of miscarriage. Even when pregnancies are carried to term, natural births are becoming rare, often replaced by surgical or heavily managed interventions. But the concerns do not end with birth. Across the world, and now increasingly within Muslim communities, we see a rapid rise in complications during pregnancy and childbirth, infertility, autoimmune diseases, severe allergies, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, autism, Down syndrome, eyesight deterioration in young children who are being prescribed glasses at , and a host of psychiatric and neurological disorders. Gender dysphoria—once regarded as a distant concern affecting only Western non-Muslim societies—is now knocking at the very doors of the Muslim community. Alongside this, the spread of pornography and sexual perversions is eroding the moral fabric of families and reshaping the minds of even the youngest. Anxiety, compulsive behaviors, and emotional instability are becoming disturbingly common. Many families turn to ruqyah for perceived supernatural issues, not realizing that many of these problems have deep physical, emotional, and generational roots. Are these afflictions simply “destiny,” unchangeable and inevitable? Or do they often originate in the choices, health, and emotional states of the parents—long before conception even takes place? What is truly in our hands, and what must we submit to as divine decree? This course will help you answer those questions with clarity. It will decisively change your mind about traditional medicine—showing you that when it is practiced and understood at its deeper roots, it cannot be compared to the mechanistic, materialistic viewpoint of modern medicine. This shift in understanding will have a profound impact on your life—not only will you change yourself for your own benefit, but for the benefit of generations to come.
What if damage has already been done? This course will prepare you to stand your ground, to resist the false promises of modern chemical medicine, and to take the right decisions going forward. This is not a course that gives you specific remedies for specific illnesses. Instead, it gives you principles—deep, foundational principles—that will change the way you see your health forever. You will understand why the “holistic” medicine practiced today—whether Ayurveda, Unani, or homeopathy—is often not truly holistic. Though the side effects may be fewer due to natural remedies, these systems still often share the same flawed, material foundations as modern Western medicine. In contrast, this course will return you to the higher principles of health:
- The deepest understanding of Prophetic Medicine – tibb an-Nabawi – in a way that has never been explored in any literature before – past or present.
- Seeing food as medicine through a spiritual and metaphysical lens
- Integrating body, mind, and soul in diagnosis and healing
- Understanding the profound role of the mother and father in shaping the health of their children long before birth
- Uncovering how a mother’s own birth, upbringing, marital harmony or discord, emotional baggage, physical health, and spiritual state shape her child’s future—body, mind, and soul
- Recognising how the father’s health, presence, and emotional state equally imprint future generations
- Discovering why so many modern childhood illnesses, learning disorders, and emotional instabilities are preventable when addressed at their roots
- Exploring what is truly within human control and what is left to Divine will
This course has the potential to transform your relationships—not only bringing greater happiness and fulfillment to your own life, but also safeguarding the well-being of your children. It will inspire mothers and fathers to see one another with fresh eyes, to mend old wounds, and to strengthen their bond through deeper wisdom and understanding—building a more stable and loving home for their children, and ultimately seeking the pleasure of their Lord, Most High. When parents understand and walk the right path, they can guide their child toward physical, emotional, and spiritual wholeness—and towards the people of Paradise. And when a parent fulfils their role, they become the “middle door” through which Paradise is reached. This is not a poetic image or a fairy tale—it is a living reality. And your opportunity to step into it begins now.
You will also see how much of what is called “prophetic medicine” today has been reduced to superficial lists of herbs and remedies, stripped of the depth, context, and metaphysical framework that once made it transformative. This is the first course of its kind, integrating spirituality, metaphysics, cosmology, religion, cutting-edge science, and the deep wisdom of ancestral medicine into a single, coherent framework for modern life. By the end of this journey, you will be equipped with an unshakable conviction that:
- Modern medicine is not inherently superior
- True healing comes from aligning with Divine principles of balance and harmony
- You have a sacred responsibility to prepare your body, mind, and soul—not only for yourself, but to bless your children, grandchildren, and all who come after you
Who we are
So, what gives us the authority to speak on these matters? We bring to you over a decade of hands-on experience in treating conditions that modern medicine has often deemed “untreatable”—and doing so primarily through natural remedies.
Hakim Shabaz Ahmed is a groundbreaking figure in healthcare, seamlessly harmonizing ancient wisdom with contemporary medical science and research. A certified naturopathic practitioner and an authorized practitioner of traditional Indian medicine through Ijazas, he also possesses a strong grounding in allopathic and traditional Chinese medicine. His expertise spans a wide spectrum of healing systems, further enriched by his certification in Psychotherapy, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. While deeply grounded in existing methodologies, he came to recognize that each system, despite its strengths, remains limited in its ability to address the root causes of modern health challenges. Too often, they offer only fragmented or symptomatic relief rather than true resolution. In response, he pioneered his own integrative methodology—an approach that unites the strengths of diverse medical traditions into a cohesive framework aimed at providing lasting solutions. With this vision, he now seeks to train medical doctors and practitioners in his methodology, aspiring to transform the medical landscape and guide it toward deeper, more enduring healing. Over the years, he has devoted himself to educating and treating numerous medical doctors and their families, creating a growing wave of interest in his forthcoming educational endeavor to promote The Tibb Methodology. TheTibb.com/testimonials TheTibb.com/ What distinguishes him above all are not only his credentials or breadth of knowledge, but his results—outcomes that speak more powerfully than any title. He has had the immense good fortune of being consulted by some of the most renowned scholars and their families regarding their health concerns. Many of them have provided explicit testimonials in his favor, and some have gone further by openly recommending their own students to seek his consultation. Nothing could be more fortunate than this, for it reflects both recognition and trust at the highest level. Through this work, he has built a remarkable track record of reversing numerous hard-to-treat chronic conditions—cases long considered untreatable within the boundaries of modern medicine. We understand how medicine was truly intended to be practiced, and our results speak for themselves. Testimonials from respected medical doctors, esteemed scholars, and everyday people attest to remarkable recoveries—proof that, when used as intended, traditional medicine can achieve what many thought impossible. The greater aim of this project is to restore to the hearts and minds of the Muslim community a deep respect for their own heritage, and to dismantle the ingrained perception that the West holds unquestionable superiority in matters of health. This shift will have far-reaching consequences—not only reviving the true honour and dignity of traditional medicine, but also strengthening our iman and deepening our conviction in the truth of our religion and its spiritual wisdom.

Course Curriculum
Health, Medicine, and Longevity Through Higher Principles
The course begins by reframing health through the lens of timeless higher principles. Participants will learn how true medicine cannot be separated from philosophy, metaphysics, and spirituality. Rather than treating health as a mechanical function, we explore how life, vitality, and longevity emerge from alignment with divine order and natural laws.
Holistic and Empowerment Medicine
Here we introduce the foundation of Empowerment Medicine. Participants will understand why fragmented approaches—whether allopathic or so-called alternative medicine—fail to address root causes. We uncover how the human body thrives not through patchwork remedies, but through integrated systems that honor its physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions.
Food, Supplementation, and Misconceptions in Modern Health
In this section, we learn to view food through a deeper, more holistic lens. The focus is on understanding the distinction between whole foods and isolated supplementation—why vitamins and minerals derived from food differ fundamentally from laboratory-produced substitutes. We also address common misconceptions about medications, supplements, and so-called “natural” remedies, showing how fragmented and reductionist approaches can hinder rather than help. This part of the course equips participants with clarity on how to nourish the body properly, while avoiding the pitfalls of modern health trends. A deeper exploration of how food influences us in ways we rarely imagine—far beyond simply nourishing the body. A profound, analytical journey uncovering the scientific and philosophical proofs behind the ancient saying, “You are what you eat.” This exploration presents an unprecedented perspective that will transform the way you look at food forever.
The Mother’s Role in Conception and Childbirth
This section highlights the pivotal role of the mother before, during, and after pregnancy. Her upbringing, emotional traumas, nutritional profile, and daily stresses are shown to profoundly influence conception, fertility, childbirth, and the lifelong health of her child. Participants will learn practical ways to prepare the body for healthy conception, pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.
Understanding Children’s Health Through a New Lens
We then turn to the child’s earliest years, examining how their health can be safeguarded and nurtured. Participants will learn how to recognize children’s health issues in their true light and avoid harmful or superficial treatments. Guidance is offered on how early interventions, grounded in holistic principles, can shape the trajectory of a child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.
Social and Psychological Dimensions of Health
This module uncovers how modern social problems are deeply connected to hidden health imbalances. We address the root causes behind rising challenges such as gender dysphoria, pornography and sexual addictions, substance abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit disorder, and the rapid decline of physical vitality in young people.
Preparing for Healthy Families and Marriages
Here, we emphasize the profound effect of marital relationships on the health and development of children. Topics include the biological and emotional influence of marital harmony, the spiritual significance of gender roles, and how nurturing the bond between husband and wife strengthens the next generation. We also explore the deeper causes of marital disharmony—such as the absence of proper grounding in higher principles, misconceptions about gender roles, and the failure to understand their true balance. Attention is given to the myths, symbols, and layers of social conditioning within modern culture that distort relationships and, in turn, create far-reaching health problems for women, men, and their children.
Practical Guidance for Daily Health and Longevity
Moving from theory to practice, participants will be given tools and principles for sustaining health throughout all stages of life. This includes: dietary guidance rooted in both tradition and modern cellular biology, managing stress and trauma, cultivating resilience, and preserving vitality into old age.
Open Questions & Practical Integration
The final stage of the course is dedicated to an interactive question-and-answer session. Participants will be able to seek clarity on topics covered and receive tailored insights for applying these principles in their own lives. This session will also include final tips for maintaining health during pregnancy, conception, and beyond, as well as strategies for weaving together the course material into daily living. Note: This curriculum is designed as a journey that moves from higher principles to practical application—from the metaphysical roots of medicine to the daily choices that safeguard health for ourselves, our families, and future generations. The topics outlined are not strictly confined to specific weeks but represent the broader concepts we will explore throughout the course. Naturally, a 4-month program cannot exhaust the depth and richness of such profound subjects, yet it will provide a strong foundation and a broad understanding of the key themes discussed. For those who wish to delve deeper, further courses may be offered to expand on particular areas in greater detail.
